Partnering with Shangri-la Group, Château Guiraud will be joining Jeannie and Asian Palate to launch the first ever Sauternes masterclass and wine dinner series in four second-tier Chinese cities: Chengdu, Wenzhou, Hangzhou and Dalian. During the tour, Jeannie will explore the ageing potential and evolving flavours of Sauternes from various keynote vintages. In each city, a trade and press masterclass will be held in the afternoon, followed by an exclusive, invitation-only VIP dinner. The menu will feature the ancient royal culinary art of incorporating edible flowers in the preparation of a 6 to 8 course food and wine pairing dinner.
