Wine store Vinum launches in Hong Kong

Wine connoisseurs in Hong Kong can rejoice the opening of new kid on the block, Vinum Fine Wines. Owned by the ambitious Singaporian Les Amis group, the new wine store takes residence on the ground floor of Michelin star restaurant Cepage.

On the night of the opening, traditional lion dances and Champagne kicked off the celebrations. Guests enjoyed the event in the chic, intimate store, which has an impressive wall made of cork and an even more impressive range of wines.

Specialising in wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley, Vinum Fine Wines houses over 2000 bottles. Given the extensive Burgundy and Bordeaux collection in Cepage, it comes as no surprise that Vinum has opened here.

The Les Amis group, founded by star chef Justin Quek, has been expanding across Asia in leaps and bounds. Quek has finally returned to Singapore after leaving the company in 2004. Foodies will be happy to know he’s got a few new surprises up his sleeve. Click here to find out what they are.
