Fake Wines in China, but not Made in China

Unlike fraudulent luxury bags and pirated DVDs, counterfeit wines in China aren’t actually made in China. According to theDrinks Business, the real perpetrators are Europeans and Americans. What China has contributed to, however, is the for fine wines. Lafite-Rothschild has been making some of the strongest gains with all vintages jumping in price by 10 percent in April – apparently surged on by Asia.
