Jeannie has brought together Domaine Clarence Dillon, Christie’s and Children’s Medical Foundation for the upcoming Christie’s Autumn charity auction. Domaine Clarence Dillon continues its series of worldwide charity auctions and will be donating two consoles each coming with a wooden box containing two “Haut-Brion” carafes and 12 glasses, each decorated with the monogram of Domaine Clarence Dillon and Château Haut-Brion. The beneficiary this time would be Children’s Medical Foundation (CMF). The red console includes the following vintages: 1935, 1945**, 1959, 1961, 1975, 1989, 1990 and 2009. The white console includes the following vintages: 1969, 1976, 1983, 1989, 1994, 2003, 2005 and 2007. The acquirer of each of the above console will also receive a case of six Château Haut-Brion red and a case of six Château Haut-Brion white wines from the 2010 vintage.

Jeannie has been a member of Children’s Medical Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2009. Her motivation to be a part of the CMF family is a very personal one.

“The mission of CMF is particularly close to my heart. My twins were born, in an emergency situation, 6 weeks earlier than expected. Had we not had access to the high quality doctors, nurses and equipment at the hospital, my daughter would have died or have been born with severe brain damage. I fully support all efforts to help mothers around the world gain access to lifesaving healthcare for their children – there are millions of mothers who lose their newborn babies every year from entirely preventable reasons. I believe that a baby shouldn’t die, just because of where she was born.”

Jeannie’s contributions to CMF have helped the Foundation establish Neonatal Care Units, launch training programs, establish emergency care infrastructure, and pay for the lifesaving care of babies whose families cannot afford it, in rural, poor areas of China.
